Robbi Gubitosa’s men thus interrupted their series of six victories, in all competitions. Lugano is doing the right thing by coming within two points of Nyon and Pully, beaten respectively by Friborg Olympic and Vevey.
Friborg still dominant
The Friborgs continue their impressive domination with a 14th success in as many matches. Martin Killian was the most productive under the basket for Olympic with 25 points to his credit during the 91-72 victory on the Nyon floor.
Vevey remains second after its 89-80 success over Pully, while the Lions of Geneva, thanks to their 95-76 victory against the red lantern Starwings, join Massagno in 3rd place. Union Neuchâtel can still believe in a place in the top 4 after largely dominating Monthey 90-66.
