Scheyer undergoes shoulder surgery and is out longer – winter sports

Innsbruck – Alpine skier Christine Scheyer will no longer compete in this World Cup season and will also miss the World Championships in Courchevel/Méribel in February. As the ÖSV announced on Friday, the woman from Vorarlberg will undergo an operation on her right shoulder in the coming week. The speed specialist had already torn her labrum there during preparatory training at Copper Mountain.
