LH deputy Udo Landbauer: Schneebergbahn offers an attractive leisure experience, time to switch off and enjoy
St.Pölten (OTS) – In autumn, the highest mountain in Lower Austria delights its visitors with a particularly colorful natural spectacle. “Autumn is hiking time and here in Lower Austria the most beautiful hiking paradises are right on our doorstep,” says LH deputy Udo Landbauer. “The Schneebergbahn offers our compatriots and families an attractive leisure experience, time to switch off and enjoy. Our guests can expect regional delicacies and the deliciously famous Schneeberg-Buchteln,” says Landbauer.
From October 30th to November 19th, the “Hop-on Hop-off” ticket allows Schneebergbahn guests to flexibly get on and off at all stops along the route, such as the Hengsthütte or the Baumgartner refuge. Down-to-earth cuisine, regional delicacies and the famous Schneeberg-Buchteln pamper passengers in a rustic atmosphere. “The Hochschneeberg mountain area, which is designed close to nature, is the highlight of the mountain experience on a trip with the Schneebergbahn, with comfortable seating, the Kaiser rest area and a spacious adventure playground,” says Niederösterreich Bahnen managing director Barbara Komarek.
