LINZ. On Saturday, December 10, at 8 p.m., Franz Schubert and Wilhelm Müller’s “Winterreise” awaits in the Posthof Linz in the celebrated version by Clara Breakfast and Oliver Welter. Tips is giving away 4×2 free tickets.
A pianist and a singer, by nature crazy enough to like to plunge into imponderables: Oliver Welter, musician and singer of the Austrian cult band Naked Lunch, teamed up with the pianist, sound and performance artist Clara Frühstück for this euphoric border crossing. At the invitation of the Burgtheater, a radical and emotionally touching reinterpretation of “Winterreise” was created. Visitors can expect a moving journey straight into the dark soul of the world’s most famous song cycle.
