BScientists have created the world’s first human synthetic embryo using stem cells without the use of embryos or eggs. Scientists from the US and Britain are behind it. Scientists say that this artificial embryo is capable of signaling complications including miscarriage.

These structures, made of stem cells, are created without the use of sperm or eggs. They resemble embryos in the early stages of human development. There are no organs like heart or brain inside them. However, the cells that make up the placenta and the yolk sac are formed in this synthetic embryo.

The aim is not to create new life but to save life. It is expected that further research in this regard will help in understanding more clearly the reasons behind genetic diseases during pregnancy and the consequences of genetic defects and miscarriages.
