Moreover, the study revealed elevated levels of the coronavirus spike protein in individuals with post-vaccination syndrome, surpassing even those with long COVID.This finding,while requiring further validation,points towards a potential role for persistent spike protein in the pathogenesis of post-vaccination syndrome.

“Something else is allowing this sort of late-phase expression of spike protein, and we don’t really know what that is,” stated Dr. Iwasaki, emphasizing the need for further research to clarify the sources of this persistent spike protein.

The study’s authors acknowledge the limitations of their work, emphasizing the need for larger-scale studies to definitively establish the causes and mechanisms of post-vaccination syndrome.
