Scientists find evidence of active volcano on Venus: ‘It’s not a dead planet’

It has been known for decades that the planet Venus has many volcanoes. For the first time there is now also evidence that those volcanoes have also been active. This is evident from analysis of old radar images from NASA’s Magellan spacecraft. Scientists speak of a major breakthrough.
