Scotland ∙ Scotland Malayali Cultural Center’s Onam celebration was held at Glasgow campus. More than 350 Malayalees from different parts of Scotland participated.
Linlithgow – East Falkirk MP Martin Day was the chief guest at the event. Greetings in Malayalam, Martin Day said that he will be with all the needs of the Malayalees.
Glasgow University Lecturer Ofira Gamliel, Scotland Malayali Cultural Center President Biju Jacob, Secretary Mathew Sebastian, University of Glasgow Senior Research Fellow John Reuben, Dr. Inis Wenrich and Faizan Ahmed delivered speeches.
The program started with children’s competitions. Various art programs were staged. Then Onam Sadya. Prizes were also given to the winners of various competitions.
