Seabourn has opened bookings for its upcoming 138-day global voyage, titled Iconic Islands & Remote Horizons, according to announcements from the cruise line. The extensive journey aboard the Seabourn Quest is scheduled to sail from Miami to Lisbon, running from January 7 through May 26, 2029.
Seabourn Announces 138-Day 2029 World Cruise Itinerary
The voyage covers more than 32,000 nautical miles, taking travelers to 58 destinations across 31 countries and territories. The route spans the Americas, the South Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Southeast Asia, the Indian Ocean, Africa, and Europe.

Featured Destinations and UNESCO Sites
The itinerary pairs well-known locations such as Bora Bora and Cape Town with lesser-known stops. Among these are Praslin in the Seychelles, known for its white-sand beaches and Coco de Mar palm trees; Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands; and the port city of Antsiranana in Madagascar, alongside Akaroa in New Zealand and Burnie in Tasmania.
The journey features more than 25 UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Highlights include Easter Island, Zanzibar’s Stone Town, New Zealand’s Fiordland National Park, and the Sacred City of Kandy in Sri Lanka.
To allow passengers to explore at a more leisurely pace, the itinerary includes 20 extended stays. Eight of these are overnight calls located in Lima, Easter Island, Bora Bora, Bali, Singapore, Sydney, Zanzibar, and Cape Town. Additional extended stays are scheduled in Cartagena, Auckland, Napier, Melbourne, Portland, Adelaide, Busselton, Fremantle, Colombo, Victoria, Walvis Bay, and Las Palmas.
Onboard Experience and Ship Details
The host ship, the Seabourn Quest, is a 650-foot luxury liner with accommodations for 458 guests in oceanfront suites. The ship features refreshed suites, public spaces, dining venues, and spa areas following a recent dry dock.
While at sea, passengers can participate in destination-focused enrichment programs, Seabourn Conversations speakers, culinary events, cultural performances, and entertainment tied directly to the regions visited. The ship’s size allows it to navigate waters beyond the reach of larger vessels.
For passengers unable to commit to the full 138-day route, Seabourn will offer extended voyage segments, with details to be announced closer to the launch date.

Additionally, optional Seabourn Journeys land programs allow travelers to take side trips to destinations such as the Galápagos Islands, Machu Picchu, Uluru, the Taj Mahal, African safari locations, and Easter Island. Guests who book the full World Cruise or eligible segments by September 17, 2026, are eligible for a 10% early booking discount.
