Jeannine Vanhemelryck, an 83-year-old lady, has been missing since Tuesday evening in Nassogne, in the province of Luxembourg. The octogenarian left the nursing home around 7:30 p.m. and has not appeared since.
About thirty police officers, supported by agents from the Department of Nature and Forests of the Walloon public service, and drones are participating in the search on Wednesday to find Jeannine Vanhemelryck. The octogenarian has been missing since Tuesday evening in Nassogne.
The victim having left on foot, the searches are concentrated in a perimeter fairly close to the rest home, explains Daniel Sommelette, divisional commissioner at the Famenne-Ardenne police zone. They will continue throughout the followingnoon.
Jeannine Vanhemelryck left the Catherine Mafa residence where she lived Tuesday evening around 7:30 p.m., in the center of Nassogne, and has not appeared since. The octogenarian used to go out for walks, police said.
She measures approximately 1m60 and is of normal build. She has salt and pepper wavy hair, a light veil over her right eye and spends her time chewing her tongue, can we read in the search notice issued by the police at the request of the Luxembourg prosecutor’s office.
