Season 4 of Atlanta will finally be the last

Donald Glover will leave us with a bitter taste in our mouths. The creator and interpreter of Earn in Atlanta took its time (almost three years after season 2) to offer us the continuation of the adventures of rapper Paper Boi. The production had also decided to shoot seasons 3 and 4 in a row, just to avoid as much as possible the delays and delays caused by the pandemic, when the series had already remained on hiatus for almost two years. Finally, FX has just confirmed that the series will end with this season 4, which should also be broadcast later this year.

The American chain did not specify the reason for this cancellation, which suggests to us a decision on the part of Donald Glover to conclude Atlanta. After all, the artist has devoted more than six years of his life to it, now with new projects to his credit on the small screen, or even a desire to take the microphone back as Childish Gambino. Let’s also not forget that his three on-screen partners, Brian Tyree Henry, LaKeith Stanfield and Zazie Beetz, exploded onto the big screen (Death Note, The Eternals, Deadpool 2…), so it must be difficult to manage everyone’s schedule for the sake ofAtlanta.

Anyway, the return of the drama will take place on March 24 in the United States, with the launch of season 3. Earn and his little protege Paper Boi will fly away for a European tour, which will notably pass through Paris, with sometimes some difficulty in adapting to local habits and customs for our tourists. After this season centered on travel, Atlanta will return to its Georgian roots in the fourth and therefore final season, also expected this year across the Atlantic.

In France, the first two seasons ofAtlanta are available in full on Disney+.
