Section 306 IPC is the latest film starring Ranji Panicker, Rahul Madhav, Shanti Krishna and others. The film is directed by debutant S Srinath Siva. The trailer suggests that the theme of the film is the suicide of a girl and the subsequent events. Section 306 IPAC is a section which adds the offense of abetment to suicide. Inciting suicide is a crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a fine.

The film is produced by Sreejith Varma under the banner of Sreevarma Productions. The film will release on April 8. The cinematography of the film is handled by Pradeep Nair. Kaitapram Viswanathan, Dipankuran and Vidyadharan Master are composing the music for the film, which is written by VH Dirar and has dialogues. Kaitapram and BK Harinarayanan have penned the lyrics for the songs. Background music is by Bijibal.
