“It’s totally full of false information,” denies the alderman in charge of Cleanliness, Allan Neuzy (Ecolo). “This stock is the stock of the entire municipality of Anderlecht, not just Cureghem and it is located in the Vaillance district. It brings together all the canisters collected in public spaces throughout the municipality for 5 months. 5,000 canisters are stored there securely. These canisters cause serious problems if they are not disposed of properly.” Whether you are a user or find them on the street, the instructions remain not to put them in white bins or municipal bins. For those stored on the municipal site, a contract is being concluded for the removal and treatment of specific waste which requires secure transport.
The alderman also wants to warn the author of the video: “No one has given permission to film on this private (communal) land. It is not because the gate of the depot is open that everyone can enter.”
