One terrorist was killed and two were injured during an operation by security forces in Panjgur district of Balochistan.
In a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) of the Pakistan Army, it was stated that the security forces in Panjgur conducted an intelligence operation and effectively located the whereregardings of the terrorists.
During the operation, one terrorist Chakar Liaquat was killed while 2 terrorists were injured, the security forces also recovered arms and ammunition from the possession of the terrorists who were involved in several terrorist activities in the area.
The press release stated that a sanitization operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists in the area.
The ISPR made it clear that Pakistan’s security forces are committed to eradicating the scourge of terrorism from the country.
Earlier on March 20, 2 terrorists were killed and 2 were injured during a successful operation by security forces in North Waziristan.
Arms, ammunition and explosive materials have also been recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists. The slain terrorists were involved in several terrorist activities in the area.
On March 18, during an operation by security forces in North Waziristan, 8 terrorists, including the most wanted terrorist commander Sahra alias Janan, were killed. and was highly sought following by the security forces.
On March 16, 2 officers and 5 jawans of the Pakistan Army were martyred in an attack by terrorists on a security forces check post in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan, 6 terrorists were also killed in the retaliatory action.
