#Morelia | Sedebi will double training and delivery of Traditional Medicine kits this year
It is planned to deliver 200 kits of utensils and supplies and train more than 400 women
Morelia, Michoacán, January 9, 2023.- In 2023, the Training and Granting of Supplies for Traditional Medicine Program of the Ministry of Well-being in Michoacán (Sedebi) is strengthened by doubling the number of trainings and delivery of kits with respect to the financial year 2022.
Thanks to this, this year it will be possible to deliver at least 200 kits of utensils and supplies and train more than 400 women with this welfare program, which aims to achieve economic autonomy for women heads of family and preserve
the practice of the techniques of the ancestral doctors.
Through this program, Sedebi offers training workshops in the 113 municipalities of the state, aimed mainly at women heads of household, in health care with natural methods for the benefit of families who live in places far from any clinic or health center.
In addition, with the knowledge acquired in the workshops, they have the possibility of self-employment and generate economic income with the sale of medicinal products that they make.
