SEE: a goal “à la Ryan O’Byrne” in Minnesota!

A scene not unlike the infamous Canadiens’ Ryan O’Byrne’s goal in his own net occurred in Minnesota on Saturday.

As the Capitals pulled out their goalie in a delayed penalty situation, Carl Hagelin attempted a pass to Evgeny Kuznetsov.

The latter was not precise, however, and the puck slipped to the back of Washington’s net.

Marcus Foligno was credited with the goal.
