AALBORG:On Sunday morning, one of the sea’s controversial giants sailed into Aalborg:

A guide said that significantly fewer cruise ships are expected to arrive in Aalborg this year than usual.

According to Destination Nord’s director, Tonny Skovsted Thorup, this is because many cruise tourists are Americans, and they are nervous about traveling to Europe because of the war in Ukraine.

According to Port of Aalborg’s website, 15 cruise ships have announced their arrival for the rest of the year.
