According to information from Het Laatste Nieuws, Mohammed A., a Palestinian who has submitted an asylum application in Belgium, is actively sought by the police. He reportedly expressed his desire to “die a martyr” following learning that his entire family had died in Gaza.
No additional measures have been taken for Brussels airport and Jewish institutions in Antwerp. The latter have in fact been the subject of reinforced security since the attack which occurred last week in Brussels.
