Holidays for free, nursing staff are currently getting this through a campaign by landreise.de. “Vacation instead of applause” addresses everyone who works in care and is currently particularly challenged there. The free holiday offers are a thank you for this commitment, which is not to be taken for granted. Hosts from the municipality of Seeon-Seebruck are also there and are happy to be able to make a contribution.

Seeon-Seebruck – Whether in outpatient care, in the inpatient care facility, in the clinic or in the hospital – the corona pandemic presents nursing staff with challenges every day. In doing so, they master everyday work under difficult conditions and always go beyond their limits. Breaks are rare and relaxation is sorely needed. landreise.de wants to support this with the “Holiday instead of applause” campaign. The Untermayer family from Moierhof Stöffling, the Ober family from Estererhof and the Schroll family from Staller Ferienhof are happy to be there and provide theirs Accommodations available free of charge. A total of eight families can look forward to a great break in the municipality of Seeon-Seebruck.
“The last few months have not been easy for our hosts either,” says Anna Esterlechner, head of the tourist information center in Seebruck. “We think it’s all the more great that they still think of those who are currently struggling even more. Of course we support our hosts in this. All guests who go on holiday in the community as part of the campaign will receive one from us Surprise Holiday Package.” The first guests were already there at the beginning of January and were happy about the holiday offer from the Staller Ferienhof in Seeon. Also Mayor Martin Bartlweber welcomes the action. “If the time since the beginning of the Corona pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we can achieve a lot together. In our district, too, many nurses work absolutely at the limit to be there for us at all times. That’s why I’m very pleased that the hosts are also giving something back in our community.
