Florida Senator Marco Rubio said on Monday that members of the Tren de Aragua are in the United States terrorizing citizens and claimed that this situation is the responsibility of the immigration policy of current President Joe Biden.
The information was shared through his account on the social network X, where he pointed out that the criminal gang must be attacked soon and called on the government to act.
“The Aragua Train is causing terror across the US as a result of Biden’s open borders policy. The White House must immediately designate these mercenaries as a transnational criminal organization,” said Marco Rubio.
Former US President Donald Trump, also a Republican, has repeatedly denounced the presence of the criminal organisation.
Trump, who will likely be the conservative party’s presidential candidate again, claims that the decrease in crime rates in Venezuela is due to the fact that gangs have also migrated in search of more victims.
