The German Sennheiser announced this week its new addition to the wireless headphones market over-ear: o Accent Wirelesswhich delivers sound with excellent bass performance and impressive clarity.
In terms of design, the contact points of the earcup and headband padding easily adapt to the user’s shape, with a soft touch that provides security. The look echoes the compact, foldable design of the MOMENTUM 4 Wireless, giving the entire headphone lineup a cohesive look.
Some model specifications include support for Bluetooth 5.2 and multipoint connectivity. For exceptional sound quality, ACCENTUM supports the aptX HD codec, as well as integration with AAC and SBC codecs.
Acoustics have been optimized for broad active noise cancellation (ANC) performance, dramatically reducing external noise through a combination of passive isolation and hidden microphones that target low and high frequencies. ACCENTUM also comes equipped with dual microphones and a dedicated wind reduction mode that enhances the quality of voice calls.
In addition to operating for up to 50 hours per charge, ACCENTUM provides up to an additional 5 hours of playback on just 10 minutes of charging. The included USB-C charging cable can also “turn” the wireless earbuds into a wired set, so you simply plug it into a compatible device to use the ACCENTUM as an audio interface.
Additionally, they have a simplified four-button layout that lets you manage various features, from the Bluetooth connection to the equalizer. O Smart Control appin turn, further enhances the user experience by storing settings and providing updates to the headphones.
The new headphones will be available in black and white, with sandstone details, from the day October 4th; pre-sales are now open. Both models will be available at select retailers and the Sennheiser online store for US$180/€180.
