The audio specialist connects the outputs. At the end of 2021, he announced the CX Plus True Wirelessan affordable model with active noise reduction, tested by our Lab. Last March, he addressed audiophiles with his IE 600. A few days ago, a surprising pair of headphones made its debut, the Sport True Wireless. They have the particularity of reducing the sounds emitted by the body during physical exertion, in order to provide better listening comfort and greater immersion.

Two years after the formalization of the Momentum True Wireless 2, Sennheiser is therefore launching its third generation of high-end wireless in-ear headphones.

They propel sound through dynamic 7mm TrueResponse drivers. Each headset is also equipped with three noise-canceling microphones to provide greater fluidity and clarity in telephone exchanges.

The Momentum True Wireless 3 are also compatible with the AAC and SBC codecs, but also with aptX and aptX Adaptive from Qualcomm. If they connect via Bluetooth 5.2, the latest standard in force to date, they do not however offer a multipoint connection.

ANC and wide autonomy

Top of the range, these TWS in-ear headphones feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology. Unlike most wireless headphones, like the AirPods Pro d’Apple where the Galaxy Buds Pro de Samsung, which offer wearers several noise reduction modes, Sennheiser stands out with its adaptive ANC. It automatically adjusts to surrounding noise. A Transparency mode is still offered for times when the user wishes to remain aware of his surroundings.

The autonomy would be according to the manufacturer of 7 hours for the headphones alone without ANC (6:30 with noise cancellation). It could be extended to 28 hours with the charging case. It relies on 77 mAh batteries in each headset, as well as 850 mAh in the charging case.

Splash, sweat and rain proof with IPX4 certification, they come with 4 pairs of silicone tips.

They will be marketed from May 10 in black, graphite and white at a price of 249.90 euro and are already available for pre-order.
