2023-07-16 07:50:00

During the first week of vacation, Mittermayr took part in the Tennis Europe Junior Tour, which was held in the Styrian town of Fürstenfeld. A total of 40 international players competed in the 12-year-old age group. The Austrian number one in the U-12 ranking list made it into the semi-finals with three two-set wins.

There the Andorfer defeated the Slovenian Marc Pavcic after a hard fight 6:3, 3:6 and 6:2. In the final a day later there was no sign of tiredness, quite the opposite: Mittermayr easily outclassed the Finn Mikael Lehtinen 6:1 and 6:1 in the final. Mittermayr, who triumphed at the Austrian U12 national championships in March, responded with a loud cheer after the converted match point.
