A Grand Theft Auto modder claims their work has been shut down by Take-Two. The modders, known as Bloc, explained in a new post on their YouTube channel that their project is no longer due to its alleged removal from Take-Two. Sentient Streets allows players to chat with NPCs via microphone. From cult members to police officers, players will experience different personalities and be able to respond to players in a variety of ways. However, Bloc said that Rockstar’s parent company, Take-Two, had removed their project, stating in a post on their YouTube channel, “Take-Two Interactive has copyright strike on my video on GTA V mod, YouTube Immediately deleted the video without any chance to explain myself. Before this, no one from Take-Two Interactive contacted me and asked me anything, they just deleted the video suddenly. My account on Netlify was also suspended two days ago. I use Netlify to host the install guide for this mod. I contacted the claimant email address shown on YouTube (it’s a Take-Two email address) hoping there might be a small misunderstanding or they could explain what’s behind it Maybe it happened automatically, but the evidence shows that they intentionally manually removed the DMCA. I haven’t heard anything back either. Looks like they’re just attacking the mod from all sides. Bloc also slammed Rockstar and the recent Red Dead Redemption bu, he said: “Instead of chasing small mods, maybe[Rockstar]Should focus on creating a proper remake with a better pricing policy, or should stop removing cars from GTA Online to sell those same cars to people.
