September 21 – International Day of Peace

Every year on September 21, Ukrainians, together with the civilized world, celebrate the International Day of Peace and the Day of Peace in Ukraine. The latter was established in accordance with the Presidential Decree dated February 5, 2002.

The International Day of Peace was founded in 1981 at the 55th session of the UN General Assembly as a day of non-violence and ceasefire around the world.

This day is dedicated to the ideals of peace both in relations within states and in relations between all states and peoples, and is designed to make everyone not only think, but also do something for the sake of peace on Earth.

This holiday has a special significance for Ukraine. Throughout history, the Ukrainian state fought for its peaceful existence. Today, peace in Ukraine is not an abstract wish, it is a realized goal. Every conscientious Ukrainian dreams of Ukraine’s victory in the war as soon as possible, the return of relatives, friends and relatives, the bright future of our children, the healing of unbearable wounds in human hearts, and protection from the aggressor.

On Peace Day, we wish everyone peace and peace in everything – peace in families, peace in hearts and peace to our native Ukraine!

We believe in the Armed Forces!

We believe in VICTORY!
