Thanks to the programmable multi-beam laser technology patented by Qiovathe society SCARY – specializing in accessories and ornaments for the luxury industry – will be able to produce, in extremely short times, an infinite variety of functional but also aesthetic markings, on a wide range of materials, in particular glass, metal (aluminum, zamak , brass, copper…), ceramics, polymers, textiles, wood, cardboard…
“Exceptional Renderings”
The femtosecond laser, through a specific interaction of light with the material, makes it possible to obtain exceptional renderings, directly on the product or on an added decoration (metal plate, leather decoration, etc.) by having perfect control of precision and reproducibility.
“The QR codes, integrated into the decor or on the order of the infinitely small, will now be customizable at very high speed, to allow the unitary identification of the packaging without disturbing the user experience. Digital will be integrated into the product in an evolutionary and retroactive way to create the link with users”, explains SERAM in a press release.
With its two companies – SERAM, on the laser part, and Samsaraon the software environment for unitary product tracking – the Neyret Group is now able to offer a global solution (laser + software) and can thus provide customers with turnkey marking solutions.
“From design to the digital solution, including support, these new complete decoration or traceability solutions will integrate all of the customer’s industrial constraints throughout the project”, specifies SERAM.
The Neyret Group is betting on this SERAM-Qiova merger to meet the new consumer expectations in terms of CSR, the environment, transparency and story-telling, to new needs for aesthetic markings (revamping, co-branding, sensoriality), new product uses (NFT, phygital, second life), as well as to new market and regulatory requirements (AGEC law, anti-counterfeiting, Digital Product Passport).
