Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez talks about his enthusiasm for the 2022 F1 Round 2 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix.
At the opening round of the Bahrain Grand Prix, Sergio Perez retired on the final lap following his teammate Max Verstappen. Still, he said he felt competitive with the 2022 F1 car RB18 and would like to take advantage of it in Jeddah this weekend.
“I’m looking forward to returning to the car this weekend,” said Sergio Perez.
“Bahrain was difficult. We had one more lap to start the season on the podium, but I believe in this team and we are united to overcome this.”
“The positive thing is that we have a long season to come. We have fast cars and we feel very competitive throughout the race. We want to take advantage of that pace from qualifying to Sunday in Jeddah.”
“Last season’s race was crazy and very challenging. Unfortunately, I couldn’t finish the race in 2021, so I want to do a clean race and maximize the potential of this car. ing”
