Red Bull dominated the second Formula One Grand Prix of the season in Jeddah. Jeddah Grand Prix Sergio Perez Champion Teammate Max Verstappen finished second. Two-time champion Aston Martin’s Fernando finished third. Mercedes duo George Russell and Lewis Hamilton finished fourth and fifth.
Perez won the Saudi Arabian GP with a strong racing display. Verstappen, who had to stop with mechanical problems during qualifying, set the fastest time on his 50th and final lap to secure the extra point and retain the championship lead. Fernando Alonso jumped at the start but was humiliated by a five second penalty during the race.
Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc finished sixth and seventh. This time the second race of the season was held in Jeddah, which witnessed one of the last races of the season last time. Last year Jeddah saw a close battle between Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc. This time too the excitement was high.
