Series of cars have more supply after Tet

In 2023, many car models that were in short supply have changed their luck. Abundant sources of goods help dealers strongly launch great incentives for customers at the beginning of the year.

Due to supply problems, there have been many cars that have suffered from shortages and price fluctuations in different periods of 2022. However, when the Vietnamese auto market gradually became active again after the Lunar New Year, the The model below has recorded more or less changes in supply.

Toyota Raize

As noted by Zing At the time of the fourth quarter of 2022, customers who come later but want to receive the car soon must accept to buy an accessory package with a value of up to several tens of millions of dong.

Limited supply has greatly affected Raize’s sales race in the A-class SUV segment. This model soon raised a white flag before Kia Sonet because when the third quarter of 2022 ended, the Korean rival took the lead. to 2,085 vehicles.

However, when the Vietnamese auto market enters 2023, Raize’s supply has generally improved significantly.

“This month, Toyota Raize has delivered about 200 cars. Interested customers can receive the car right in February and do not need to buy accessories”, a sales consultant confirmed with Zing.

Currently, the list price of Toyota Raize has been adjusted to VND 552-563 million. Among these, the most expensive version with white pearl black roof color scheme is the product that has just been launched by Toyota this year.

Hyundai Creta

In August 2022, the selling price of the Standard version of this B-class SUV was offered by dealers at VND 630-635 million, VND 10-15 million higher than the genuine listing.

The Special Edition of Hyundai Creta is also sold by dealers for 15 million more than listed, while the Premium version also has a difference between 10 million and 30 million VND depending on the dealer.

At that time, the sales consultants explained that the price difference came from an unstable source of goods, causing demand to exceed supply. The large attraction of this B-class SUV in Vietnam also makes the number of cars imported from Indonesia unable to meet.

However, the sharp increase in the number of imported CBU cars in the second half of 2022 is one of the reasons to help solve the supply problem of Hyundai Creta in particular and the Vietnamese auto market in general.

As a result, Hyundai Creta gradually improved its sales month by month in the last two quarters of the year and finally reached the sales milestone of 12,096 vehicles, becoming the 10th best-selling name in the entire Vietnamese automobile market.

Exchange with Zinga salesperson at a Hyundai dealership said the number of Creta cars at the moment is relatively stable.

This person also revealed that Hyundai Creta currently only has a few imported CBU shipments. Dealers are all ready to introduce the locally assembled Creta to Vietnamese customers, with an expected time of April-May.

The domestic version of Hyundai Creta has appeared on the website of the Vietnam Register.

The price of the Vietnamese domestic version of Hyundai Creta has not been revealed yet. However, the salesperson said that it is likely that the price of the car will not change compared to the CBU imported version from Indonesia.

Hyundai Santa Fe

In many stages of 2022, Vietnamese customers buying Hyundai Santa Fe used to have to accept a “lost” expense of up to hundreds of millions of dong to expect to receive the car soon.

If you do not want to spend money to buy more accessories in the fourth quarter of 2022, customers are suggested to wait until 2023 to receive the Hyundai Santa Fe.

Specifically, Santa Fe models with VIN 2022 will receive a cash discount with accessories, with a maximum value of up to 120 million VND. For the group of cars manufactured in the new year 2023, the incentive level only stops at VND 30 million.

After 12 months of 2022, TC Group sold 10,603 Hyundai Santa Fe cars to Vietnamese customers. Sales of nearly 884 cars per month also help Santa Fe become the most popular 7-seater SUV in our country last year.

Honda HR-V is still in trouble

Contrary to the situation of the above models, the Honda HR-V is still a rather “unlucky” model in the new year when the overall supply has not improved.

Exchange with Zingthe sales consultant of a Honda dealer confirmed that the current supply of the HR-V is quite limited.

“Customers asked to buy HR-V quite a lot, but the dealer could not sell because the number of cars available was very small,” this person said.
