A woman who was seriously injured as a result of an accident at the junction of the Ring Road with the Krasnoflotskoye Highway in St. Petersburg was operated on at the Dzhanelidze Research Institute on the night of August 11. Her relatives told Fontanka about this. At some point, her death was reported, but this information, fortunately, was not confirmed.

One of the motorists who helped to pull out the children, according to the reader, said that the children as one repeated: “We are fine, our mother fastened us, she always fastens us.”

The accident, we recall, occurred on August 10 at about 15:50 in the Petrodvorets district – on the 46th kilometer of the Krasnoflotskoye Highway at the exit from the Ring Road towards Lomonosov. According to Fontanka, a 22-year-old resident of the Leningrad Region in an Iveco truck crashed into a power fence at the exit from the Ring Road, drove onto Krasnoflotskoye Highway, crossed the traffic lane in the direction of Lomonosov, the median lane and rolled further in the direction of Sosnovy Bor. In the oncoming lane, he first hit the Toyota RAV4, drove on, crashed into a bump stop and overturned on a Volkswagen.
