Four people were injured, including two more seriously, Thursday evening in a road accident in Rawdon, in Lanaudière.
The accident occurred shortly following 8 a.m. on Route 125 near Meadow Street. According to information from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ), a first vehicle traveling southbound would have deviated into the opposite lane causing two subsequent collisions with two different vehicles traveling northbound.
Four people were injured during the event, two of them more seriously. We fear for the life of one of them, said Sergeant Camille Savoie, spokesperson for the SQ.
SQ collision investigators were called to the scene to shed light on the circumstances surrounding this accident.
“Alcohol might be involved,” added Ms. Savoie.
