Mauro Daniel Ojeda, 27, was found seriously injured at 04:35 in the morning of this Monday, July 10, 2023, on the Camino Héroes de Malvinas that joins the cities of Reconquista and Avellaneda, where he was going.
Mauro had been hanging out with friends in a pub in Reconquista (Doña Tita) and the mistake was when he was returning to the apartment where he lives (alone) in the City of Avellaneda.
He was driving a red 250 cc Honda Twister motorcycle, domain 242 IXP.
An ambulance from the 107 Emergency Service transferred Mauro to the Reconquista Hospital, where he remains in the intensive care unit.
In dialogue with ReconquistaHOY, his father indicated that Mauro is intubated, in critical condition, which complicates a necessary emergency operation to review the consequences of blunt abdominal trauma, which could have seriously damaged functionality. He had very low blood pressure, impossible for surgery. He also has a strong blow to the spine and head. No fracture.
He explained that, having protected the head with the helmet, the less serious is the blow to the head. The worst is in the abdomen and spine. They believe it was from hitting at least one of the trees that are in the way.
Daniel added that he was able to find out from the friends who were with his son, that “They had had little to drink, especially Mauro, since he had to drive and get up early.”
Daniel said that Mauro works as manager of the Grido branches; and where it is most often is at the Avenida Pietropaolo, in Reconquista.
He is single and lives alone in an apartment that he rents in Passage 22 of the Belgrano neighborhood of the City of Avellaneda.
