The Intel Core processors of different families like Skylake, Tiger Lake and Ice Lake are vulnerable to a new class of attacks dubbed “Downfall” which are enabled by the vulnerability CVE-2022-40982. These attacks allow stealing sensitive data such as passwords, encryption keys and private data from users of the same computer.
