GTA and RDR Online servers suffer DDoS attacks after anti-cheat release

Several DDoS attacks are happening to the servers of Rockstar Games in the last few days. According to the portal Cyber Insiderthe situation has been occurring after the implementation of the new anti-cheat system by the company called BattlEye and which focuses on cracking down on cheating in games.

This move by the company ended up leaving several players dissatisfied, which led them to pursue this type of attack. As a result, several login issues occurred, in addition to connectivity failures for those who play GTA Online. The intensity of these attacks has increased since the last day 21.

After this date, there were several reports of increased loading times, frequent disconnections and failed login attempts. So-called botnets are being used to flood servers and render them temporarily inoperable, and PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms have been affected.
