The man who organizes the Traunsee Half Marathon (the fifth edition takes place on Saturday, June 24th) was the record holder over 100 meters for almost 35 years until recently: Andreas Berger from Gmunden, at the time also known as the “fastest Gendarme of Austria”. His 100-meter record of 10.15 seconds, achieved on August 15, 1988 in Linz, was set on July 16, 2022 by Markus Fuchs from Lower Austria and a few days ago, on August 8, 2022.
