Mendoza experienced an electoral weekend, with the premiere of the single ballot. The candidate of the Frente Elegí San Rafael AvanzaOmar Félix, was the winner of the PASO election with 40.12% of the votes and 89% of the polling stations.

Félix widely surpassed the other pre-candidates for mayor for the Elegí Front, Nadir Yasuff and Miguel Sorroche, and led by 5 points to Abel Freidemberg, the candidate with the most votes for Cambia Mendoza.

After knowing the results, Omar Félix highlighted that “The challenge is that we continue to transform the lives of our people for the better. The ultimate goal is that San Rafael can continue to progress.”

In Maipú, another example of Justicialist triumph, Matías Stevanato prevailed comfortably with more than 47% of the votes and surpassed the elected candidate of Cambia Mendoza, Mauri Pinti Clop, by almost 20 pointswhich gathered 28.19% of votes.

With close to 98% of the 46 polling stations in Santa Rosa counted, distributed in sixty schools, the current mayor Flor Destéfanis achieved 52.34% of the votes in the department, followed by 35% for Cambia Mendoza.

Meanwhile, Fernando Ubieta, imayor of La Paz, approached 50% of the vote with 79% of polling stations counted, followed by Cambia Mendoza, who reached 42% of the vote and achieved the candidacy of Ramiro Blanco in the general elections.

In Tunuyán, the ruling party candidate, Emir Andraos, emerged victorious with 46.2% of the votes and 89% of polling stations; while Cambia Mendoza exceeded 30% with Luis López at the head of the party.

In Lavalle, Peronism reached 68% of the votes with the support of the current mayor Roberto Righi, senator Gerardo Vaquer, and deputy Edgardo González, who was elected as a candidate to succeed Righi tonight.

With 94% of tables scrutinized, Cambia Mendoza only obtained 16.18% of the votes and the rest of the coalitions did not exceed 5% each.

As for San Carlos, the ruling party embodied by Alejandro Morillas, candidate of the Frente Encuentro por San Carlos, obtained 33.83% with 85% of polling stations, while Cambia Mendoza-Nuevos Rumbos obtained 29.43%, followed by Partido Verde with 21.57 and the Frente Elegí San Carlos, 6.96%.

Morillas is supported by the current mayor Rolando Scanio, by the deputy Jorge Difonso and by the leader of La Unión Mendocina, Omar De Marchi.

In Mendoza, The provincial ruling party is made up of Cambia Mendoza, representation of Together for Change at the local level, and it is opposition in the seven communes where today there were elections PASO.
