A cyberattack paralyzed several major ports in Australia on Friday. The government held a crisis meeting.
The affected ports are managed by the logistics group DP World, reports Interior Minister Clare O’Neil. According to local media, this concerns the port infrastructures of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Fremantle.
The blockage could last several days and threatens to significantly disrupt supply chains.
The federal police have opened an investigation.
