In a message published this night on Twitter, PezRadar provides several details concerning the Season 1 of Diablo IV ahead of its launch next week. A message has also been visible in-game recently. Find them below.

Eternal Realm: Normal and Extreme characters that are not in Season. Seasonal Realm: Starts July 20 with Season 1. Normal characters on Eternal Realm will have Map/Altars progression transferred to Normal characters on Seasonal Realm. Extreme characters on the Eternal Realm will have Map/Altars progress transferred to Extreme characters on the Seasonal Realm. Extreme characters must be alive. Normal and Extreme characters are in their own categories. Once Patch 1.1 is released and at any time during Season 1, you can log in on your most advanced Eternal Realm character. to transfer Map/Shrine progress to your season character. If you have a character who unlocked 10 Shrines in Scosglen and another who unlocked 5 Shrines in Kehjistan, log into them following Patch 1.1. You will have 15 Shrines on your Season Character. Complete the map and Shrines before Patch 1.1 to save time.
