Several incidents in Liège after the Belgium-Morocco match

About fifty people attacked the Droixhe police station on Saturday around 6:10 p.m., in the wake of Morocco’s victory once morest Belgium at the World Cup, we learned from the Liège police. Windows were smashed and service vehicle lights were damaged.

The police are on site, supported by a sprinkler and a federal police drone, to try to intercept the perpetrators of the damage.

Elsewhere, a few other incidents are to be deplored. The luminous bear in Place Saint-Lambert fell under the weight of supporters climbing it, a bus shelter was broken in Place de l’Yser, and three night shops were vandalized in Place du Congrès, rue Henri de Dinant and rue des Maraichers.
