The german justice announced this Thursday the arrest of four members of an extreme right-wing network that was part of a movement of opponents of anti-Covid regulations who were preparing “violent attacks” in the country and the kidnapping of public figures.

The German Health Minister, the Social Democrat Karl Lauterbanch, was one of his objectives, as confirmed to AFP by a source from the Ministry. This network, baptized as “United Patriots” had as its main objective the “destruction of the German democratic system”, according to the Koblenz prosecutor’s office and the Rhineland police in a joint statement.
