Several natural food supplements recalled throughout France

Several phytosanitary products have been recalled in recent days for the abnormal presence of pesticides (chlorpyrifos). The Rappel conso site has issued sheets concerning many food supplements sold everywhere in France or on the Internet. We find in particular Organic Milk Thistle “Rue des Plantes”marketed in 500 g sachets in the store located in Rennes and on the brand’s website.

Chrysantellum Americ from the Prophar laboratory is also affected. This plant, which contributes to the proper functioning of the liver, is packaged in capsules in pots of 50 or 150 units. This product was offered in pharmacies only.

LaboFloral recalls Pygeum capsules, sold on www.phytomoinscher.com. The site has also posted Prostahomme, from Synervital. Pygeum tablets are also recalled par Herba Nature et Euro Santé Diffusion alert on St. John’s Wort. Finally, from the Strong red yeast rice from Thierry Duhec is also on the list.

The analyzes showed an overrun of the authorized limit of chlorpyrifos in these food supplements, supposed to improve digestion or the functioning of certain organs. It is therefore advisable not to consume them and to bring them back to the point of sale for a refund or an exchange.
