Metro lines 1 and 5 are severely disrupted since traffic is interrupted between the Comte de Flandre and Arts-Loi stops.
It would be a release of smoke detected at the central station, due to a technical incident, which would cause the metros to stop. It is, however, a false fire alarm. The Stib did not specify when traffic might resume normally.
