SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, USA (AP) — Collin Sexton scored 25 points, his best this season, Keyonte George broke his career-high with 20 points, to which he added six rebounds and six assists, and the Jazz Utah beat the Portland Trail Blazers 118-113 in overtime on Saturday.
John Collins added 18 points and Omer Yurtseven broke his season record with 15 rebounds. Utah defeated Portland at home for the second time this season.
Malcolm Brogdon and Shaedon Sharpe each added 25 points for Portland. Scoot Henderson added a career-high 17.
Brogdon ended a 9-0 run with a layup and 3-pointer that cut Utah’s lead to 96-94 midway through the fourth quarter. Sexton stopped the comeback with three free throws. Portland attacked once more and tied the score at 106 with a three-pointer by Brodgon with 41 seconds remaining in regulation.
Toumani Camara blocked a Sexton layup that might have given them the victory at the buzzer and forced overtime.
Yurtseven put Utah ahead for good with a dunk with 1:14 left, putting the Jazz up 115-113.
