“I find it disturbing as information,” said the Prime Minister on Friday on the sidelines of a press briefing for the announcement of candidates in Outaouais for the next provincial elections.

He also urges the various league officials to put in place measures to “stop it”.

“I want all the investigations to be done, that we go to the end of the files. Please, victims, I know it takes courage, but denounce your attackers so that we identify them and punish them for what they have done,” added the Prime Minister.

Recall that the Quebec City Police Department has been asked to reopen an investigation into allegations of sexual assault by a young woman from Trois-Rivières.

The facts date back to 2014 and implicate four players from the Gatineau Olympiques.
