What is “Seyrán and Ferit” about?
“Seyrán and Ferit” is the new Turkish television series that brings a love triangle in which passion and loyalty for the family will be debated.
Its original name in Turkish is “Yali Chapkini” which literally means “kingfisher”Turkish expression received by people who pursue temporary loves without commitment.
The fiction follows the life of Ferit Korhan (Mert Ramazan Demir), a womanizing and irresponsible young heir, who returns to Türkiye after living abroad. Seeing his behavior, his grandfather Halis (Cetin Tekindor) will decide to intervene.
To do this, he will arrange a marriage with a suitable young woman and the chosen one will be Suna (Beryl Pozam)who lives under the yoke of his strict father with his sister Seyrán (Afra Saraçoglu).
