Shabab Al-Ahly team was crowned champion of His Highness the President of the State’s Cup for Men’s Table Tennis for the current season 2021-2022, after beating Al Nasr 3-1 in the final match that brought them together at Al-Wasl Club Hall in Dubai, at the end of the season’s competitions.
With his victory, Al-Fursan, the defending champion, raised his balance to two titles, compared to 18 titles for Al-Nasr, the historical champion and runner-up of the current version. Al-Ahly youth also achieved the double in the current season, after being crowned two days ago also with the shield of the General League Championship.
Eng. Daoud Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Table Tennis Association, crowned the “Al-Fursan” team with the precious championship cup, in the presence of Faisal Al-Kaabi, member of the Board of Directors of the Federation, Majed Sultan, member of the Board of Directors of the Sports Sector at Shabab Al-Ahly Club, Executive Director, Mohamed Khoury, General Manager of Abdullah Al-Mousa Group of Companies Championship sponsor.
And represented Al-Ahly youth in the final: Salah El-Din Abdel Hamid, Faisal Ahmed Abbas and Abdullah Al Balushi, managed by Adel Mohamed, and the Egyptian coach Hamed Hafez, and the victory was represented by Rashid Abdel Hamid, Marwan Mansour and Rashid Mohamed Abdullah.
