Shaheens beat Ireland in second T20 – Sports

In the second T20 match, Pakistan defeated Ireland easily by 7 wickets to level the 3-match series 1-1.

Pakistan completed Ireland’s target of 194 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 16.5 overs.

In the second T20 match of the series played in Dublin, the Green Shirts won the toss and elected to field first and invited the hosts to bat first.

Ireland’s batting

When Ireland opened the innings, openers Paul Stirling and Andy Balberney gave the team a 29-run start, but Shaheen ended Irish captain Stirling’s innings on the second ball of the fourth over.

The host team was not even able to recover from the loss that following two balls, Shaheen gave his team a major victory and put a full stop on 16 runs in front of the innings of the hero of the previous match, Bilburni.

In the first T20, Ireland outclassed Pakistan, losing by 5 wickets

After that, Lorcan Tucker and Harry Tucker combined and the duo put on a 62-run partnership for the third wicket.

Harry Tector played an innings of 32 runs but Abbas Afridi with the help of Shaheen made Tector run.

From the other end, Lorcan played brilliantly and scored a half-century and combined with Kurtis Kaempfer to take the score to 137, but Amir took a catch on his own ball to finish off Kaempfer’s work.

George Dockrell scored 15 while Lorcan scored 51 runs off 34 balls.

In the final overs, Gareth Delaney showed aggressive batting and scored 28 runs off 10 balls with 2 sixes and 3 fours to take his team to a total of 193 runs.

Thus, Ireland scored 193 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted overs and gave Pakistan a target of 194 runs to win.

On behalf of Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi took 3 wickets by giving 49 runs in 4 overs while Abbas Afridi dismissed 2 players for 33 runs in 4 overs.
