Shakira and Grupo Frontera will release a new song together, it is “Entre parentheses”, and it will be part of their new album “Las mujeres ya no cry”, which will be released on March 22.
The Colombian singer gave a preview through her social networks, where she said she was excited to enter the recording studio with the regional Mexican band.
“Our first session with @frontera_group with this song (Entre Perentesis). My little tribute to the regional Mexican genre that I like so much!” Shakira shared.
On her Instagram account Shakira published a photograph accompanied by all the members of Grupo Frontera and her followers did not stop praising their work together, and they also said they were excited to hear it.
“We don’t know why! But we have a feeling that this song will be one of the favorites of many”, “This collaboration is a dream! This is my favorite regional Mexican group!!! I loved them from the beginning as I did with you!!! Counting the days here” and “How exciting. I already need to hear it”, are some of the comments that the publication has collected so far.
“Women no longer cry”, Shakira’s new album
In mid-February, Shakira announced the release of her new album ‘”Las mujeres ya no Lloran”, after seven years of not having new studio material.
In addition, this production could include the start of an international tour that will visit different cities.
The Latin pop star told his fans that the album has been created thanks to the inspiration and support of all his fans.
“I have not created it alone but with all of you, and with my pack of wolves who have been there accompanying me every step. The production of this work has been an alchemical process,” said Shakira.
The composer also returned to the process she experienced after her separation from Gerard Piqué and showed that her music has been the best way to move forward.
“As I wrote each song, I rebuilt myself. When I sang them, my tears transformed into diamonds and my vulnerability into resilience.”
