Shakira holds a Barcelona shirt at a charity event
Colombian singer Shakira’s fans were confused following she carried a FC Barcelona shirt, the team of her ex-husband Gerard Pique, with members of the Catalan club’s staff, almost a year following her separation from Pique.
Shakira attended the opening of an educational center in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia, accompanied by her two children with Pique, Milan and Sasha.
The center was opened in cooperation between the Shakira Charitable Foundation, FC Barcelona and other partners, and receives 1,000 students annually in the primary and middle levels. The center also provides community services to the residents of the neighborhood, which is home to 53,000 people.
Shakira had previously imposed on Pique not to travel to Barcelona to see his two children because the city reminded her of her past with him and of the tax fund pursuing her.
