Global pop icon Shakira will return to India this April for performances in Mumbai and Delhi, headlining the third edition of the Feeding India Concert, organizers announced on February 20, 2026.
The concerts, scheduled for April 10 at Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai and April 15 at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi, mark Shakira’s first performances in India since her 2007 appearance during her Oral Fixation Tour. This year’s event also represents the first time the Feeding India Concert will be held across multiple cities.
The Feeding India Concert is a music-led initiative organized by the not-for-profit Feeding India, in collaboration with District by Zomato, a going-out platform. The event aims to raise awareness and funds to combat child hunger and malnutrition in India, with a goal of achieving Zero Hunger by 2030.
“Performing in India has always been special to me, and I’m excited to connect with my fans across Mumbai and Delhi,” Shakira said in a statement. “The Feeding India Concert is about more than music. it’s about standing together to ensure every child has access to the nutrition they need to thrive.”
Tickets for the concerts will be available starting in March 2026, exclusively through District by Zomato. Organizers are preparing for significant attendance at both venues, which are known for hosting large-scale international performances.
Shakira, a Grammy and Latin Grammy Award winner, has sold millions of albums worldwide with hits including “Hips Don’t Lie,” “Whenever, Wherever,” and “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).” Her participation is expected to significantly amplify the national dialogue surrounding hunger and malnutrition.
